Micro Living in Paris

Your micro space can have magic. Batiik Studio certainly made it happen in this 11 square meter space in Paris! Just imagine the possibilities. Never say never...

Small Space Apartment in Grey

Living in compact spaces is tough. A cohesive monochromatic colour scheme expands the tight spaces. This apartment proves just that... A continuous tone-on-tone shades of grey tie in all the architectural details, and a subtle punch of toned teal gives the space a pop of life. The result is sophisticated and krisp.

Grey + Terra Cotta

Living room goals. This colour combination plus natural wood tones has me going nuts lately.

Outdoor in Black + White

Maja's home is one of my go-to's when looking for ideas. Her minimal approach with great contrasts in light and shadow inspires me. The outdoor space has evolved through time but has kept the same krisp and clean lines.

A Merry Desk

Jennifer Hagler is a household name in my inspiration world, and I don't doubt as well as in many other creatives' little bubble. She has the perfect minimalist aesthetic any minimal enthusiast can only dream of (as seen on AMM blog). Our fairly new apartment in Los Angeles hasn't gone through major improvements as yet. Trying to take our time with it and not spending money all at once. It's also funny how my wish list keeps evolving through this short time. I do keep circling back to the minimal expression, not wanting to own too many things. It is liberating.

Today I gather more inspiration from Jennifer's home corners. They don't fail me, ever.

I'm all over the simplicity and tone-on-tone colour palette.

Outdoor Goals

Living in California certainly has its perks. But my small apartment doesn't offer much outdoor space. Still collecting ideas and inspiration for a narrow balcony of 3'x12' without compromising too much. It's a challenge, for sure.

Small or big, my outdoor goals resonate much with Pella Hedeby's. The sun bleached teak wood, linen and concrete pretty much sums it up!

Airbnb Dreaming in Mexico

The weather is starting to warm up these days, and I can't help but dream about the next R&R at the beach. Somewhere secluded, somewhere private but open to nature.

How about this one through Airbnb?

Photography | Art in the Home

Large photographs or unusual subjects in pictures I find inspiring as art in one's home. I especially get drawn to images of buildings, houses or fields that leave an eery or unexplained atmosphere. It gives that mystery or hope or feeling you just cannot place...

This apartment has those photography art that made me go gaga this week.
