Don't you just wish you had this dream studio loft when you moved skint into the city when you were trying you find your independent streak??  I do, I do!  I wish rentals as such existed back then…  or TODAY for that matter!  The multi-level makes the small footprint unconfining.

Weekend Inspiration: Cognac and Oak Accents, and put IKEA in the mix

I wish to meet Stylist, Pella Hedeby, someday.  She just hits the mark.  Everything about this flat is what I intend to do in my own flat.  All the right ingredients mixed in, including carefully chosen IKEA pieces.  I just wish NYC would someday give me more windows other than the front and back of the building.

Summertime, Summertime...

Like I said before, it feels like spring came and went in a span of a day.  What happened???  Hopefully the summer climate won't be too torturous!  Today I'm wishing I had an outdoor patio to enjoy the breezy summer afternoons.  If I did I would not shy from being a copycat and do this:

I drool over these rocking chairs!  First time I saw them was at Barney's New York, and thought "when will I ever own that!"
