Great conversion! By the way, I will be going for a trip to NYC in July, and was wondering if you could give any hints on the "must see" interior stores in Manhattan..? Any type of shop, which is known for its shop design or such? Would be grateful for your answer :)
ReplyDeleteHi Katja! That's wonderful! NYC is constantly changing, but i can definitely send you a tour list of said shops. There's too many to mention but i can definitely try to condense it to my top favorites. I'll keep you posted.

Thank you Kris for your help :) A condensed list would be great, really appreciate your effort! There is so much to see in NYC, I realize that, and in a week it is just impossible to see it all :)
DeleteHej Katja,
DeleteI have put together a condense NYC list for you. It is mostly interior shops, but I have also included other boutiques because of the brilliant architecture or visual merchandising. Some hotel lobbies and restaurants are great as well.
In no particular order:

Avenue Road
Espasso
Wyeth
Goods for the Study
Ochre
Area
The Future Perfect
Design Within Reach
Jonathan Adler
J'adore Clic
Here are fab chain stores:

Moma Store (they carry brands like HAY, as well as iconic mid-century furniture)
West Elm
Anthropologie
MUJI
Boutiques:
Dover Street Market
Comme des Garcons
Maison Margiela
Le Labo
Enjoy!
Kris
