My imagination just runs wild when I think of Greece!  Dreaming and hoping I set foot on the islands some time again soon. 

Designer Jayne Wunder created this paradise, Villa Orpheus in Mykonos, embracing that traditional organic setting of whites and blues against the backdrop of the Aegean sea.  So breathtaking!  It is typical of Greek villas, and yet so contemporary and rustic all at the same time.  Natural materials mixed in with iconic furniture pieces, and bursts of modern art.  It is a dream...

M A D for Mykonos!

My trip to Santorini and Mykonos last September was an eye-opening experience.  The metropolitan life I acquired in NYC made me forget how much I loved spending time in the beaches with the scorching sun and breeze.  Spying photos from travel blogs brings me back to that wonderful feeling of sun and sand...  I can't wait for that next trip! Choosing which villa to stay is only half the fun.  All white, minimal and dreamy with a modern touch.  Today, I'm mad for Mykonos!

Rustic Summer

I often dream about summer getaways when the temperatures go hot wild here in New York.  I miss those weekends my family spent at our beach growing up...  I constantly fantasize going back and creating a new generation of memories.  Perhaps building a new summer home if and when the time comes?  I envision rustic greys, linen, raw and sunbleached wood, branches, concrete and industrial fittings.  Oh how I wish!
