Last year Storm Sandy hit the East Coast like never before. Our apartment on Stone Street suffered having no electricity nor hot water for about 5 weeks. Downtown Manhattan was dim and cold. Wooly socks were our friends! Soon as the lights came on Christmas on Stone Street happened -- fallen Sandy branches were included in the mix, plus some DIY projects. IKEA was a great source for LED lights! We were I L L U M I N A T E D !
This year the Stone Street digs shall enjoy some more colour (evergreen), contrast (white branches), more metals, and finally -- the Christmas party we never had! The pad is getting ready for loved ones to enjoy. Post decoration pics will be shared with you very soon...
