Capture the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

I had the pleasure of spending some time away from hectic New York City two weeks ago with my good friends from ParadoxVestedRelics.  Off to the Jersey beaches we went, and boy, that was much needed escape! Captured here are some images of the mundane, the strange, the typical, the loveliness, and most of all -- the moments in time.  There was beauty in everything!  Am I an artist? Or a person of poor taste??

Plateful of Black+White Love

Black + White is my most desired colour scheme.  There are a few stylists and designers out there I have grown to admire in the recent past due to their impeccable taste and talent.  Maiju from PLATEFUL OF LOVE has styled her own home with utter crispness!  I love everything about it!  With Scandinavian whites and accents of black.  The mix of IKEA and iconic designers pieces make it even more desirable.  I own some of the same furniture in her home, but I have yet to achieve that effortless styling...

My vacation mode needs shutting off...  Work week extends until Sunday which puts my blog on the back burner.  Perhaps if I schedule a work desk rehab at some point inspiration may start to flow.  I bought a faux goat head with horns in an unexpected shop recently and it needs a new home in my office area.  I found some styling tips from the greats...
