Hello Saturday!! I can't even express how excited I am to set foot in this Scandinavian bistro this weekend! It brings me back to my short visit in Oslo where my Norwegian coworkers then feasted on shrimp and dill sandwiches for lunch. Aamann's-Coppenhagen is said to be the newest Nordic hangout in Tribeca. Sanne Ytting collaborated with Adam Aamann of Coppenhagen to represent the flavours of their homeland here in New York. Remodelista aptly labeled " Adam Aamann, the man who made open-faced sandwiches chic again." The space itself is designed by Anders Busk Faarborg of Fobsi Studio in Copenhagen. Blonde woods and white -- typically Scandinavian!
